The Provider

Felicia L. Davis

PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC

My name is Felicia Davis.

I am a nurse practitioner, board-certified in both family and psychiatric medicine. I’ve practiced both family and psychiatric medicine, however since 2015 I have focused more on psychiatry specializing in management of the persistently ill psychiatric patient, acute psychiatric stabilization and addiction medicine. I’ve provided management in the areas of inpatient forensic psychiatry, community mental health clinics, outpatient management and currently acute psychiatric medicine, providing coverage in emergency medicine and psychiatric consultation to medical patients within the hospital.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Criminal Justice from Norfolk State University, an Associate's degree from Queens University and a Bachelors of Nursing from Winston-Salem State University.  Fulfilling a strong desire to advance my career, I completed a Master's of Science

of Nursing from Winston-Salem State University and Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Post Master’s Certificate from Husson University.

Providing psychiatric care is my passion, I find it very rewarding and humbling.  Additionally, commitment to service by reducing treatment disparities among psychiatric patients and raising awareness in mental health were both driving forces behind Windsong Family and Psychiatric Associates becoming a reality.  Restoring hope, respect and empowerment are also priorities of this practice.
